Made by infusing “Nishiyoshino plum” into sake, shochu, with pulp and fresh plums.
ABV: 10%, 720ml
You can really feel the unique origin of the plum with this drink. Long, round and elegant with tons of umami. Beautifully balanced, very versatile with lots of unique flavours and complexity. The finish is endless. In fact its so complex its hard to describe. Every sip is different. On the rocks this picks up more freshness and the plum flavours shine through a little more, with some hints of citrus fruit. At room temperature it is rounder and more creamy but still superbly balanced. A wonderful and unique Umeshu. Drink it with caesar salads or lighter game dishes.
