Umeshu and Yuzushu have been enjoyed for centuries in Japan. Umeshu is Japanese plum wine - it’s the simple art of mixing plums, alcohol and sugar. Yuzushu does the same with the lemon-lime citrus flavour of yuzu fruit.
At Umeshuya, we collaborate with traditional sake breweries to develop our own unique blends of Umeshsu and Yuzushu, using the finest locally sourced ingredients and hand-made methods. These passionate brewers produce our unique collection in limited quantity small batch runs exclusively for us every year.
The designs for Umeshuya’s collection reflect the artisanal nature of our brewery partners, with bespoke artwork drawing from our Japanese heritage.
