We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfil our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • We use your personal Information to provide our services to you, which includes: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfilment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.
  • We may share your Personal Information for our compliance with our legal obligations including for tax and reporting requirements, to report crimes and serious incidents. In this respect and if required, we will share your information with HMRC, the police and other competent authorities.

     

    International Transfers of Personal Information outside of the United Kingdom

    We may occasionally be required to transfer Personal Information to Japan, for example, if we report to our HQ in Japan on Umeshuya London’s operations or if we use Japanese organisations to help provide our goods and services. Such transfers of Personal Information is based on the adequacy decision made by the UK Government in respect of Japan’s data protection safeguards. In the event that this basis is no longer available, Hishinuma Trading Co. Ltd trading as Umeshuya London will enter into data sharing agreements with the respective Japanese organisation that will incorporate the approved contractual clauses to safeguard your personal information.

    When you place an order through the Site, we will retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase this information. In particular:
