Kyoto Umeshu is a full-strength plum wine, made with premium “Junmai” sake without added alcohol or sugar.
Savoury, tart and spicy with pure rice sake base shining through. Notes of bitter plums, lemon and lime, this is a very versatile drink. Delicious on ice, or at room temperature delivering hints of cooked lime zest.
Made in Kyoto prefecture by Shoutoku Sake Brewery who have been in business for over 300 years, producing Junmai-shu using traditional sake brewing methods.
